Today, more than 50,000 volumes of legislative texts, case law collections, textbooks, treatises, monographs, collective works, series, loose-leaf publications and periodicals are housed in the library that spans over much of the Institute premises.

The main library collections include works on foreign laws; major and minor jurisdictions from all continents (Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania) are substantially represented. Secondary collections include a considerable variety of works on private international law, public international law, comparative law and EU law. A particular collection is reserved for works on Greek law.

The richness and diversity of the library and its constant update justify its ranking as the country’s first and finest source of information on foreign laws, international law and comparative law.
